California Facility Expansion - October 20, 2000
Catalina Cylinders is pleased to announce the completion of the second phase of capital expansion at our Garden Grove, California facility. With this expansion, we have doubled our production capacity to manufacture, test, finish and valve high pressure aluminum cylinders for the medical oxygen, SCUBA, beverage, industrial, life support and fire extinguisher markets.

Updated Specifications - November 17, 1999
The specifications for Carbon Dioxide, Medical Oxygen, 9000 Series High Pressure and SCUBA cylinders have been updated to reflect the latest specifications. For more information, please contact Sales.

Powder Coating - January 1, 1999
Catalina Cylinders is pleased to announce that all cylinder products are now available with a powder coat painted finish from both of our facilities. Powder coating offers a tough, durable finish. SCUBA cylinders produced in California are available in eight popular colors. For more information, please contact Sales.

Lightweight Medical Cylinders - January 1, 1999
In January 1999, Catalina Cylinders began exclusively producing a "New and Improved Lightweight Oxygen Cylinder" (NILOC) in 4.38" diameter. Reduced weight has many advantages. For the new cylinder specifications, please see the Medical Oxygen Cylinders page.
