To Whom It May Concern:

As of the date of this letter, Catalina Cylinder’s business operations have been unaffected by the COVID-19 outbreak and are continuing to operate as normal.

All Catalina Cylinders facilities are located in USA, and its core supply chain is within North America. Catalina has requested its supply chain to provide immediate notification if a potential disruption may occur, and Catalina will notify its customers if any disruption is anticipated.

Catalina is internally taking precautions based on recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). For products supplied to Catalina originating from areas affected by the COVID-19 outbreak (high alert areas), Catalina is taking precautions to minimize the risk of introducing or spreading COVID-19 within its operations.

Regarding the risk of COVID-19 transmission through imported goods, the CDC has provided the following statement:

“In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Coronaviruses are generally thought to be the spread most often by respiratory droplets. Currently, there is no evidence to support the transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods.” – Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
